The Power of Infographics

People like pictures. A lot! In fact, studies have found that social media updates with images are viewed, liked, and shared more often than those that only contain text. But sometimes you do need text in order to get your message across, and that’s where infographics come in.

A blend of the words “information” and “graphics,” infographics are visual representations of data, statistics, and other things that the creator or distributor wants you to know. Even if you didn’t know what they were called until just now, you have probably been seeing infographics on a daily basis—they’re just about everywhere on the Internet. (We even like to use them here on this blog every now and then if we know they’ll be helpful to our readers.)
